Church of the Wild ~ Two Rivers is an emerging community, meeting in the midst of and sharing with the abundant life all around us. Our intent is to deepen our connection to the Holy by being more fully present, open and available in each moment. We learn from the earth and trees, the waters and sky, and from all living beings, human and non-human. Located where the winding Shenandoah joins the majestic Potomac River, we are nurtured by beauty, silence, and communion.
In our gatherings we are evolving new traditions guided by mystics, sages, and wise ones from many traditions who throughout generations have reminded us of our sacred interdependence, connection, and oneness with all. If you are open to engaging in contemplative practices and expansive times of silence in nature as a way to connect more deeply with the Divine presence in all, we welcome you.
Join us!
Bring your camp chair or blanket and join us as we meet monthly outdoors in places of natural beauty. Our time together will follow a spacious rhythm of readings, chants, and sharing;
walking in silence will serve as our “sermon.”
We will close with a brief time of conversation, light snacks, and fellowship.
